Ms. Tina Bryan
Ms. Tina Bryan is the Executive Director of the Anguilla Financial Services Commission (AFSC), where she leads the supervision of Anguilla’s financial services sector with responsibility for AML/CFT/CPF compliance, risk-based supervision, and regulatory effectiveness. She was appointed in March 2019.I n her role, Ms. Bryan oversees regulatory frameworks aligned with international standards, including the FATF Recommendations, and works with regulated entities to promote practical, proportionate, and outcomes-focused compliance. Ms. Bryan is a qualified attorney, called to the Bar in Anguilla, and holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wolverhampton, a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Services from City University (UK), and a Certificate of Legal Education from the Sir Hugh Wooding Law School. Prior to joining the AFSC, she practiced as an Associate Attorney at a leading law firm in the British Virgin Islands. She has extensive banking experience, and holds academic qualifications in business from the University of the Virgin Islands, and Saint Mary’s University, Nova Scotia. Ms. Bryan is a regular speaker at regional and international compliance forums and is known for her clear, pragmatic insights into supervisory expectations, emerging AML/CFT risks, and the evolving role of RegTech in strengthening compliance effectiveness."
