Conference Reschedule

Yes, a rescheduled conference date of September 23 – 25th has been selected. However, attendees have expressed concern about returning in 2020. These concerns are addressed later in the registration FAQ.
Disclaimer: Given the on-going uncertainty around the COVID-19 Pandemic the new conference dates will be subject to WHO and Local government advisories. Ultimately, the Safety of Attendees and Speakers will be the primary guide in all decisions around the rescheduled conference.
No speakers have expressed concern of being available at the rescheduled conference date. However, the 2020 conference committee reserves the right to adjust the conference speaker schedule as needed to accommodate attendee requests, governmental advisories, or other unexpected events related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ultimately, the Safety of Attendees and Speakers will be the primary guide in all decisions around the rescheduled conference.
The conference committee will review requests as received for those people who would rather that their 2020 conference registration be applied to 2021.
The conference hotel will resume bookings upon the lifting of all government advisories pertaining to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The conference committee will provide communication to all registrants inclusive of information providing instructions on how reservations can be re-booked at such time.

Refund Policies

The Conference Refund Policy is posted on the conference website before registrants submit their registration payment.
Conference registrants may cancel if written cancellation requests are received at least 60 days prior to the start (March 17th, 2020) of scheduled programs. A credit voucher less 50% of the registration fee will be issued for written requests received up to 30 days prior to the start (March 17th, 2020) of scheduled programs. No refunds or credits are issued on cancellation requests received less than 30 days prior to the start (March 17th, 2020) of scheduled programs. Refunds shall incur a processing fee of $100.00 USD.
No, Conrad Miami will initiate refunds. At this time, The Conrad Miami’s management team has informed the conference committee that given the state of emergency they cancelled all hotel reservations. As a part of the reservation cancellation process, credit and debit card holds were releases and returned to all cardholders who booked with the hotel.

Accommodation

No. The conference committee will send an advisory by email blast or Conference App to let past registrants know when hotel registration has re-opened.
